Groove Music is a preinstalled app in Windows 10 that you might want to uninstall. Open PowerShell (May have to run as admin)
Step 2: Enter Command
Enter the following in PowerShell: Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers

Step 3: Find the Groove Music Package
The Groove Music package is actually classified as Zune. So you can use the edit find function in PS to search for Zune. The full package name should be something like: Microsoft.ZuneMusic_3.6.12711.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.
Highlight the full package name and use the edit copy function to get a copy of it on the clipboard.

Step 4: Enter the last command
Enter the following into PS: remove-AppxPackage Insert Full Package Name Here

Confirm that Groove Music is no longer an offered option in the start menu.

To add your locally stored music to Groove:
- Open the Music app.
- Select Settings and then select Preferences.
- Select Choose where we look for music on this PC.
- Tap or click the “+” button to see your local folders.
- Select a folder, select Add this folder to Music to add the folder.
- After you've added all your music folders, select Done.

- Select Remove Folder to confirm.
